Sharon Jean Bucher, 65, of Winchester, Virginia, died Monday, February 27, 2017 in the Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Bucher was born November 4, 1951 in Winchester, Virginia, raised in Berryville and known locally as “Bunny Pete”, the daughter of the late Robert Edward Lee and Betty Gardner Lee.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Winchester American Legion and Terrace Club.
She married Claude Nelson Bucher, Jr. on December 23, 1977 in Berryville, Virginia.
Surviving with her husband are a son, Jamie Bucher and his wife, Jennifer, of Middletown, VA; a step-son, Eric Bucher and his wife, Melissa, of Winchester, VA; a brother, Michael Lee, of Pennsylvania; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Bucher and a grandson, Ryan Bucher.
A brother, Robert Lee, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends 6:00 – 7:00 P. M. Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville, and a memorial service will be held at 7:00 P. M. with Rev. Karen Adams officiating. Burial will be private.
