Jonathan Christopher Wedlock, 33, of Fayetteville, NC, passed peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2017 in McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC.
Jonathan was born October 7, 1983 in Ft. Benning, GA, the son of the late Rev. David Preston Wedlock, Sr. and Valerie Paige Wedlock of Fayetteville, NC.
He was a Crisis Counselor with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health. He was owner/operator of World Champ Entertainment.
He served in the U. S. Army Reserves.
He was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and the Masonic Lodge.
Surviving with his mother and his brother, David P. Wedlock, Jr., both of Fayetteville NC are his grandparents, Gilbert and Delores Johnson, Sr. of Washington, DC and Violet Jackson Hamilton of Winchester, VA.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 A. M. Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Johnson-Williams Middle School, Berryville, VA with Pastor Barnabas Sewell officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Hill Cemetery, White Post, VA.
The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P. M. Friday evening at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville, VA.
